Too many firearms retailers have websites that are live but not actually driving sales. This week’s coreWEEKLY breaks down why dealer sites stall when they are built to display instead of convert, walks through a corePOW demo on tax setup with automatic rate detection and multi-state breakdowns, highlights facial recognition login in coreSTORE for faster employee access, and includes the coreBLAST Episode 11 replay along with what’s coming next.

Why Most Dealer Websites Don’t Sell Anything

A lot of dealer websites are not failing because the owner does not care, and they are not underperforming because the firearms customer suddenly stopped buying online.

They usually stall out for a simpler reason. The site was built to display products instead of giving people a real reason to buy from that specific dealer.

There is a big gap between having a website and having a website that sells. A site can be live, full of product, technically functional, and still do almost nothing for the business if it looks and feels like every other dealer site on the internet. That is the trap many retailers have fallen into.

💡 Coreware Feature Update

corePOW: Coreware Tax Setup Demo | How to Set Up Sales Tax, Nexus Tracking, and Multi-State Tax Collection

In this episode of corePOW, Ezra and Joel walk through how to set up taxes inside Coreware and show why this matters for modern retailers selling both in-store and online. This quick demo covers automatic sales tax detection, location-based tax setup, state and county tax breakdowns, and built-in tools designed to help businesses better understand sales tax obligations across multiple states.

The video shows how users can go into their location settings, edit a store location, and use Coreware’s auto-detect feature to automatically pull in the correct sales tax rate. Even better, the system breaks that tax down by state and county, making setup faster and more accurate for businesses that want to avoid guesswork.
